We all have a uniquely designed purpose and path in life.  My hope is to help you create rhythms of discipline and discover a sustainable approach towards your physical training. 

   

 Strength Training

  • At AIMS Training, we follow NSCA's periodization approach for gaining strength through the Stimulus-Fatigue-Recovery-Adaptation theory
  • Your body needs a stimulus or stressor in order to grow (increase lean body tissue, increase tensile strength, increase bone density, increase biochemical adaptations, etc.)
  • An accumulation of fatigue will occur, which is a result of the magnitude and duration of the external load
  • Recovery is crucial to allow for dissipation of fatigue and adaptation biochemically
  • Through consistency, your body will create an adaptation to the demand that is placed upon it
  • My role
  • Create a program with the adequate training stimulus for your needs and goals
  • Actively coach you in your training through adapting program stimulus as needed

Endurance Training

  • Your aerobic capacity is involved in your daily life. Through training, your heart will become more efficient, which affects the ability of bringing oxygen and nutrients to your tissues.

  • Tips for incorporating safe heart rate increases
  • Tips for incorporating more daily steps
  • Running plans with incorporated strength training to emphasize healthy joints and tissues for longevity

  • Upload a video on the app to receive feedback on your exercise form
  • Or we can schedule video calls at any time to make sure proper form is being executed

  • Built into program to keep your joints, tendons, muscle tissue healthy and ready for demands placed upon them
  • Recovery days with reflection questions included in program

Nutrition

  • Learn what your body needs to operate optimally for training, recovery and longevity of health
  • Macronutrient breakdown
  • Weekly check-ins regarding nutrition goals

HOW DO I GET STARTED?

Step 1: Intake Forms

  • Fill out contact form below.
  • AIMS Initial Assessment and Intake Forms will be sent to you to be filled out and returned.
  • Video call will be scheduled


Step 2: Physical and Movement Assessment

  • On our call, my goal is to get to know YOU!
  • We will talk about your responses from Intake Forms & discuss your goals, individual needs, nutritional habits, scheduling, potential barriers, injury history
  • Followed by Movement Assessments via video feedback

 All of this information goes into formulating your individual designed program


Step 3: Training and Support

  • All training and communication is managed through the app, TrueCoach.
  • Client will receive email invitation to "Train with me" which will get you started in getting access to your profile and adding your subscription plan.
  • Now the real fun begins, what you are committing to - journeying towards a functionally fit life!
